用生命诠释忠诚
2006年4月30日，云南边境，暮春细雨未停，长沙海关缉私局民警张宏定、刘萍，与同事们在禁毒一线奋战月余，成功抓获走私毒品犯罪嫌疑人3名。押解途中，一场突如其来的车祸，让两人的生命定格成禁毒丰碑上的永恒坐标。

为缅怀英烈功绩、传承英烈精神，清明节前夕，长沙海关缉私局组织开展系列清明纪念活动。在湖南革命陵园张宏定同志墓前，鲜花静静安放，民警辅警整齐列队，驻足凝望，脱帽默哀，追思缅怀。
在常德万金公墓刘萍同志墓前，战友们轻轻拂去墓碑上的尘土，拔除墓前的荒草，心中涌动着无尽追思，缅怀那些为守护人间烟火，化作璀璨星辰的英雄。

对牺牲战友最好的纪念，就是以他们为榜样，把对战友的哀思转化为推动缉私工作的不竭动力，让英雄的足迹越走越长。
多年来，侦查处以“侦查尖兵”党建品牌为引领，将追忆张宏定同志英雄事迹主题党日淬炼为民警铸魂课堂，传承忠诚信仰，推进打私工作，维护国门安全，先后两次获评“全国反走私先进集体”荣誉，形成“英雄精神代际传承、忠诚动力护航国门”的示范效应。

常德海关缉私分局将学习刘萍同志事迹作为新警入局“第一课”，将学习传承刘萍同志精神作为每年党员教育“必修课”，青年民警在传承中创新、在挑战中突破、在奉献中成长，全力守国门、护平安，化矛盾、解难题，用严格规范公正文明执法传递精神、温暖人心，刘萍同志生前所在的法制科获评“全国公安机关爱民模范集体”，正是对她的精神的延续和拓展。
