2025年7月14-18日，全球化工领域历史悠久、学术领先的盛会——2025世界化学工程大会暨第21届亚太化工联盟大会(WCCE 12 & APCChE 2025)将首次在中国召开。
大会以“迎接全球挑战的化学工程范式变革”为主题，将紧跟全球科技新领域发展脉搏，针对化工发展面临的颠覆性挑战，围绕化工与未来人才教育、化工与基础产业再造、化工与战略新兴产业、未来化工与智慧创新四个挑战性课题，展开30余个创新主题、600余场发人深省的前沿报告与丰富多彩的交流研讨。

由南京工业大学承办的大会第十六分会场将于2025年7月16日在北京国家会议中心召开。会场将围绕“生物制药与健康工程”主题开展深入研讨。该分会场主席南京工业大学国家生化工程技术研究中心主任应汉杰院士，亚太化学工业联合会前任主席、山口大学山本修一教授共同担任。目前已邀请中国科学院院士马光辉，加拿大工程院院士陈璞，西北大学化工学院院长范代娣，华东理工大学教授许建和，曼彻斯特大学教授 Nicholas J. Turner，昆士兰大学教授Gerhard Schenk, 火炬计划学者深圳湾实验室许志平研究员，南洋理工大学李光前医学院罗大海教授等多位国内外知名院士专家做主旨报告。
