7月19日晚，受台风天气影响，蓬江区港口一路一棵树被狂风刮倒，粗壮的树枝横卧在路中央，阻碍了车辆通行。
危急时刻，执勤交警迅速行动，化身“清障先锋”，冒雨将树枝移至路边，并第一时间通知相关部门到场处理。为确保过往车辆安全，交警还在现场设置了醒目的雪糕筒，引导车辆有序绕行。经过高效协作，道路很快恢复畅通。

7月20日上午，蓬江公安接报称市区五邑城附近一大厦顶层的光伏板及铁架被台风“韦帕”带来的强风吹至摇摆晃动，存在很大安全隐患。

接报后，民警快速响应，马上联系属地社区以及大厦业委会的负责人员，打开通向大厦顶层的通道。在大厦楼顶，民警冒着狂风暴雨搬运近50分钟，终于将未架设牢固的光伏板和铁架转移至安全区域，排除了安全隐患。

新会
7月20日上午10时许，新会交警巡逻执勤时，发现多处树木被大风刮倒，横落于道路上。为防止交通事故的发生，交警立即采取应急措施，设置警示标志，指挥疏导交通，引导车辆减速通行，并合力将倒伏树木从路面移开。

一群众在虎坑桥上遇台风不能行进，新会交警紧急救助，平安送其回家。

因受台风影响，台山都斛金星路段一颗大树被吹倒横在路中间，已严重影响到道路车流行驶。交警部门接到警情后第一时间赶到现场指挥交通，并协同交通部门将拦路大树分段拖移，确保交通道路安全畅通。

7月20日上午12时许，因受台风影响，开平325国道湛江方向百合路段几颗大树被吹倒横在路中间，影响到车辆行驶，开平公安协同消防、公路局等部门将树枝拖移，现道路已恢复畅通。

7月20日13时许，开平蚬冈派出所接到村委会求助，在台风“韦帕”来袭期间，牛过塘村边对面江岛上两名渔民夫妇不肯上岸。
蚬冈派出所联合镇政府人员来到牛过塘，冒着风雨，通过对岸喊话、手势示意、电话沟通、联系家人等方式对渔民夫妇进行劝退。当天14时许，渔民夫妇终于被成功劝退上岸躲避台风，民警和政府工作人员联合帮忙把小渔船搬到安全地点。

7月20日，鹤山共和派出所联合镇相关部门对在建工地进行防台风安全排查，对滞留在工地板房内的工人进行劝导转移。
